Enterprise Data Architecture Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Architecture Specialist to design and implement end-to-end enterprise-grade data solutions for our clients in Sydney.

This is a Work From Office role based in Sydney, with an initial 3-month contract and potential for extension.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Data Architecture Specialist, you will be responsible for defining data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks while guiding cross-functional teams in delivering secure and scalable data platforms.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in architecting enterprise-level data solutions, proficiency with tools and platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and aligned data architectures.
  • Define and maintain data integration patterns and governance frameworks.
  • Develop and communicate data strategy and architecture roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure effective delivery.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to align solutions with business requirements.
  • Guide engineering teams through implementation using best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in architecting enterprise-level data solutions.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with long-term strategic thinking.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
