The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchandising, with experience in sourcing and buying. They will be responsible for shaping our womenswear collections by leading product development and merchandising from concept to delivery.

This role involves:

  • Sourcing leadership: Identifying and evaluating suppliers while building long-term vendor relationships.
  • Range planning: Developing seasonal line plans that balance creative vision with market demand.
  • Buying and costing: Negotiating with suppliers to achieve competitive costs while maintaining quality.
  • Pricing and margins: Developing pricing strategies that optimize profitability without compromising creativity.
  • Product development: Managing collection timelines from initial sampling to final production, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Market insights: Tracking trends, competitor assortments, and customer preferences to inform decisions.
  • Calendar management: Overseeing collection calendars to ensure smooth flow across design, sampling, and production.
  • Performance review: Analyzing sales data and feedback to refine future collections.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Partnering closely with Design, Pattern, and Production to bring collections from concept to customer.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Fashion Management or related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in sourcing, buying, and merchandising (luxury/RTW preferred).
  • Strong sourcing network and expertise in textiles, trims, and production partners.
  • Skilled in garment costing, pricing, and margin management.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident with retail math.
  • Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration.
