Job Title: Finance Operations Specialist

 

  • We are seeking a skilled Finance Operations Specialist to join our team and lead the development of tax compliance products.
  • This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to align product goals with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and user needs.
  • The ideal candidate will stay current with IRS and state requirements, ensuring product compliance with ever-changing tax regulations and filing standards.

 

Requirements:

 

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in finance operations, SaaS, fintech, or regulatory compliance domains.
  • Prior work with tax software or IRS-integrated products is highly desirable.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Customer-Focused Approach: Ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to identify pain points in financial processes and design innovative solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and own the product roadmap for tax compliance products.
  • Drive feature development and automation to enhance filing accuracy, form validation, payer/payee workflows, and bulk e-filing capabilities.
  • Monitor product metrics, track error rates, filing volume trends, and customer satisfaction, using insights to optimize feature performance and ensure scalability during peak tax seasons.
