Senior Indirect Tax Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Indirect Tax professional to join our team.

  • This role will involve handling end-to-end GST compliance, including filing returns, reconciliations, and assessments.
  • Responsibilities will also include managing Income Tax matters, such as ITR filings, tax planning, and scrutiny assessments.
  • Drafting replies, appeals, and representations for departmental notices and proceedings will be required.
  • The successful candidate will attend hearings and interactions with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
  • They will provide advisory support on taxation queries and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to process improvements will be key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handling end-to-end GST compliance, including filing returns, reconciliations, and assessments.
  2. Managing Income Tax matters, such as ITR filings, tax planning, and scrutiny assessments.

Requirements:

  • A Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
  • Proven hands-on experience in GST and Income Tax domains is required.
  • Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, rules, and recent amendments is necessary.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office tools is required.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a client-facing role is essential.
