Job Overview

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading multiple projects from inception to completion. This role involves overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
  •   Plan, organize, and execute projects in accordance with defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  •   Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  •   Monitor and control project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Leadership:
  •   Lead a team of project coordinators, engineers, and technicians to achieve project goals and objectives.
  •   Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  •   Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Vendor Management:
  •   Develop and manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  •   Negotiate contracts and agreements to meet business needs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  •   Monitor vendor performance and take corrective action when necessary to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Quality Assurance:
  •   Ensure that all projects are executed in accordance with established quality standards and procedures.
  •   Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential quality issues.
  •   Implement corrective actions to address quality concerns and ensure that projects are delivered to the required standard.
Requirements
  • Education:
  •   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  •   Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  •   Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
  • Skills:
  •   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •   Strong leadership and team management skills.
  •   Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  •   Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  •   Knowledge of project management software and tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Jira.
