Job Title

The Billing System Lead is responsible for delivering end-to-end support to the billing system, ensuring its optimal performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for the configuration, testing, and maintenance of the billing system.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and implement effective billing solutions.
  • Offer production support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate fixes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and resolution.
  • Document processes and provide end-user training.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar billing system role.
  • Expertise in insurance billing processes (P&C or Life/Annuities/Health).
  • Strong understanding of policy administration, claims, and integration with billing systems.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, data validation, and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Agile methodology and Jira/Confluence tools.
  • Knowledge of Java, APIs, and integration points.
