Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Interior Components Expert to lead the engineering design, technical development and delivery of new or ongoing program development (OPD) projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the engineering design, technical development and delivery of interior components, including door trims, soft & hard trims, door claddings, pillar capping and finishers.
  • Develop and maintain commodity plans to ensure quality, cost and time targets are met.
  • Own and deliver Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning deliverables.
  • Manage change requests, expenditure forecasting and supplier teams in support of delivery of program milestones.
  • Resolve compatibility with A-surfaces for technical feasibility and develop designs that meet vehicle targets.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of leading project teams and resolving business, technical and process issues.
  • A good working knowledge of product creation and delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of automotive body cabin systems, plastic and sheet metal materials, design rules, bill of design, bill of process, DFMEA, DVP, DFM, part and assembly level tests etc.
  • Proficiency in using CATIA V5 & V6, Enovia, Teamcenter Engineering (TCE), and part release process and system.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
  • PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
