Medical Product Promotion Specialist Job

This field-based role involves promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, within a designated territory.

Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, increasing product awareness and market share.
The Medical Product Promotion Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Promoting and selling the company's pharmaceutical products to medical professionals
  • Visiting healthcare professionals regularly to detail product information, benefits, and usage
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with medical professionals
  • Achieving or exceeding assigned sales targets and objectives
  • Organizing and conducting product presentations, CMEs, Continuing Medical Education, and promotional events
  • Monitoring competitor activities and market trends
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales calls, customer details, and sales reports

The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a Medical Representative, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, good organizational and time-management abilities, and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Key qualifications include:

  • Strong sales and marketing acumen
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Territory planning and coverage expertise
