This exciting opportunity will see you play a pivotal role in the design of metering systems from conception through construction, final testing, and lifecycle support.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer specifications and identify project scope.
  • Follow departmental and PMO processes.
  • Generate project documents and drawings.
  • Perform engineering design, including freezing project basic design and creating bills of materials.
  • Liaise with mechanical designers and engineers for design changes.
  • Engage with customers, addressing KOMs, queries, and deviations to specifications.
  • Ensure quality of project documentation.
  • Prepare enquiry datasheets and material requisitions for long-lead mechanical items.
  • Review sub-vendor offers and drawings/documents.
  • Handle sub-vendor interactions, including follow-up, design review meetings, and customer concerns.
  • Maintain quality records and monitor mechanical work progress on projects.
  • Conduct pre-FAT and FAT with customers.
  • Develop as-built documentation and handover to services.
  • Perform pressure drop/head loss calculations, pipe wall thickness calculations, and lifting lug calculations.
  • Provide technical support to E&I, Quality, Purchasing, and Project Managers.
  • Report project status updates and scope variations to the Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Validated experience in Piping, Oil and Gas, and Process Industries.
  • Good knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry equipment, instruments, piping, and structural work.
  • Familiarity with various types of meters for gas and liquid measurement, ASME, ANSI, API, API MPMS, ISO, and other industry standards related to Oil and Gas measurement services.
  • Experience with piping and structural welding and non-destructive testing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Micro Station and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical skills, results-oriented, and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Salary Estimate: The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
