Manufacturing Operations Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced manufacturing operations expert to lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing manufacturing workflows to identify areas for process optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on operational goals, recommending and applying industry best practices in shopfloor operations, conducting training sessions for client staff on improved processes and tools, and monitoring, tracking, and reporting progress to client stakeholders regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive the implementation of lean principles and best practices to enhance shop floor efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze Manufacturing Workflows: Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend improvements to enhance overall manufacturing performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure alignment on operational goals and objectives.
  • Industry Best Practices: Apply industry-leading techniques to optimize shop floor operations and improve overall performance.
  • Training and Development: Provide training sessions for client staff on new processes and tools to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Progress Tracking: Regularly monitor, track, and report progress to client stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with hands-on exposure to production planning and shop floor processes.
  • Consulting Background: Prior consulting experience is highly desirable.
  • Educational Qualification: An MBA from a reputable institution is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while driving impactful outcomes.
