Senior Quality Assurance Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance expert to develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • This role involves designing, implementing, and executing test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • The selected candidate will collaborate with development teams to ensure that automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and analyzing test failures to ensure issues are resolved promptly is an essential part of this role.
  • A well-documented quality assurance process throughout the software development life cycle is crucial.
  • The ideal candidate will review product requirements and provide feedback regarding testability, edge cases, and validation techniques.
  • This position requires working closely with developers and product managers to understand project goals and contribute to the overall quality strategy.
  • Performing manual testing when necessary and ensuring comprehensive test coverage is also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Automation skills including Selenium, Specflow+ C#, security, performance testing, manual testing, API testing, web application testing, ReadyAPI (SmartBear), and TestComplete (JavaScript).
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in QA automation with strong knowledge of test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug test failures.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
