About Cybersecurity Experts

Cybersecurity experts play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of an organization's information systems. They require in-depth knowledge of IT security best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and maintaining secure IT infrastructure architecture and systems based on project requirements, technical specifications, and scope of work.
  • Conducting thorough audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to identify weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluating risks associated with IT systems and identifying potential threats to data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards by implementing and maintaining effective security measures.
  • Supporting the preparation of ATP documents, SoP documents, and other security-related reports.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective security measures to protect against cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of existing IT controls and recommending enhancements or new controls to mitigate risks and improve security posture.
  • Preparing detailed audit reports documenting findings, recommendations, and remediation plans for management and stakeholders.
  • Providing training and awareness programs to educate employees about IT security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring IT systems and processes continuously to detect and respond to security incidents and compliance breaches in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with other departments to address IT-related risks and compliance issues effectively.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12.5 to 18 years of experience in IT security or related fields.
  • A proven track record of designing and implementing secure IT infrastructure architecture and systems.
  • An excellent understanding of IT security best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training and awareness programs.
