Test Data Specialist Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Test Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data management group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our test data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Profiling and Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of test data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Data Masking and Provisioning: Design and implement effective data masking and provisioning strategies to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Enterprise Database Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in enterprise databases such as IMS, DB2, Oracle, and MS SQL Server.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams on test data management initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Skills:
    • Strong understanding of test data profiling/PII analysis/sensitive field analysis methods.
    • Experience in data masking and data provisioning techniques for testing environments.
    • Expertise with enterprise databases - IMS, DB2, Oracle and MS SQL Server.
    • Ability to understand current architecture, data flows and application dependency
    • Proficiency in one or more TDM tools (Broadcom CA TDM, Delphix, K2View, DataMasque)
    • Experience in integrating TDM solutions with CI/CD pipeline.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive technical initiatives.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Australia banking domain experience.
    • Experience working on the tools like Compuware File-AID, IBM RDX.
    • Mainframe job scheduling tools - OPC, ESP.
    • Hands on experience working in SQL queries
