Internal Combustion Engine Specialist

We are seeking an experienced internal combustion engine specialist to design, develop, and optimize engine systems for aerospace and defence applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of thermodynamics, combustion, lubrication, and cooling systems, as well as experience with engine test stands and performance measurement equipment.

  • Develop IC engine systems for UAVs and aerospace applications, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Analyze engine performance, including power, torque, fuel efficiency, and thermal characteristics, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Select, size, and integrate propeller systems, gearboxes, and exhaust systems for maximum performance.
  • Plan, set up, and execute ground and flight engine testing, ensuring accurate results and safe operations.
  • Detect and troubleshoot engine performance issues, vibration problems, and mechanical failures, using problem-solving skills and analytical tools.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Automotive Engineering and 2-6 years of experience in IC engine design, development, and testing.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IC engine systems, including thermodynamics, combustion, and lubrication.
  • Experience with engine test stands and performance measurement equipment.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
