Job Title: Senior SAP Security Consultant

Avensys, a leading IT professional services company, is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior SAP Security Consultant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in SAP security design principles, role architecture, and risk identification to drive business growth and success.

  • Design, configure, and maintain SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations across various platforms, including ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, and BW.
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments using SAP Identity Management (IDM).
  • Apply position-based access control models where appropriate.
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, segregation of duties (SoD) requirements, and audit controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP authorization issues, IDM provisioning problems, and SAP cloud access challenges.
  • Support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and new project implementations.
  • Monitor SAP security logs, identify potential risks, and take proactive action.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and audit teams to deliver secure and compliant SAP solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, reports, and training materials.
  • Lead and manage large-scale SAP Security design and restructuring projects.
  • Provide high-level support for SAP security across Development, Test/QA, and Production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in SAP Security, including role design, GRC, and IDM.
  • Experience with security in ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, and related SAP environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SAP security (e.g., SAP BTP).
  • SAP security certifications (highly regarded).
