Job Opportunity:

Drive business success by overseeing the full lifecycle of data engineering solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing robust data architectures that meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable, secure data architectures that align with business objectives.
  • Lead the implementation of data solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Develop and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to improve data infrastructure and practices.
  • Create detailed documentation of data architecture, data flows, and processes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and cloud computing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience with 3+ years in data architecture or similar role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native data services:
  • AWS: Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, EMR.
  • Azure: Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks.
  • GCP: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data governance tools and practices.
  • Certification in one or more cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, Google Professional Data Engineer).
