Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

The role of Cloud Infrastructure Specialist involves the design, deployment, and management of scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. This position requires a strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with cloud-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Deploy Scalable Cloud Infrastructure: Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to support business growth and improve efficiency.
  • Build and Maintain Containerized Environments: Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure smooth application deployment and scaling.
  • Automate Infrastructure Provisioning and Configuration: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible to reduce manual effort and minimize errors.
  • Develop CI/CD Pipelines: Develop CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to streamline deployment processes and improve quality.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Systems: Monitor and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and cloud services to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Continuously Improve Infrastructure: Continuously improve infrastructure through automation and innovation to stay ahead of business needs.
  • Document Processes: Document processes, configurations, and architectural decisions to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience with Cloud Technologies: Proven experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
  • Strong English Language Skills: Strong command of the English language (written and verbal).
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and investigation skills.
  • Willingness to Learn: Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and domains.
  • Infrastructure Interest: Genuine interest in infrastructure and automation.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Monitoring Tools Familiarity: Familiarity with monitoring tools and cloud security best practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or other relevant technologies.
  • Scripting Language Knowledge: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
