Job Title: Cloud Systems Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex cloud-based information system components in a secure and controlled manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product issues successfully.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.
  • Implement and manage Kubernetes, helm Charts, Terraform, Ansible, and other DevOps tools.
  • Ensure smooth operations of SaaS products by automating critical processes, such as Change Control, Monitoring & Alerting.
  • Drive disaster recovery procedures, training, testing, and team readiness.
  • Contribute to process improvements and technical innovations that lead to increased stability and reliability.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux and troubleshooting skills.
  • Scripting using Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.
  • Kubernetes, helm Charts, Terraform, Ansible.
  • Windows Terminal Services, AD, LDAP.
  • Change, Problem & Incident Management.
  • Vulnerability/Penetration Testing, Security.
  • Tools and frameworks used for monitoring, performance management, logging.
  • CI/CD pipeline.
  • SRE – Including Datadog.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in cloud technology – AWS, Azure – AWS preferred.
  • Strong networking skills.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex cloud-based information system components.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to address product issues successfully.
  • Strong understanding of how to build, scale, and manage complex multi-product/service environments.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or any related discipline.
