About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to drive finance process improvements and technical mentorship at Workday India Private Limited. This role involves collaborating with finance teams to analyze business problems and recommend automation and efficiency solutions.
The ideal candidate will participate in evaluating and developing systems and procedures that meet the strategic needs of the business. They'll be responsible for ensuring successful maintenance and configuration of new Workday solutions, including redesigning existing features and understanding the optimized approach for implementing new features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business partners to understand business processes, goals, and gaps.
- Drive the planning, prioritization, design, development, and deployment of new projects and system improvements.
- Configure the Workday Financials product and document, as needed.
- Find opportunities for process improvements using business knowledge and expertise.
- Participate in change management and launch support processes for new and modified configurations.
- Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, domain experts, and end-user representatives.
- Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met.
About You
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of directly related experience working with financial operations in IT, financial operations, or implementing/administering the Workday Financial application.
- Understanding of contracts to cash and revenue business processes and their inter-dependencies.
- Ability to define team processes, make recommendations regarding areas of improvement.
- Experience detailing and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies, applications, and solutions.
