About the Role

The ideal candidate will strike a perfect balance between creativity and financial discipline, providing solid numbers to back bold decisions.

  • Lead all finance functions, including forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, and reporting.
  • Develop strategic financial plans that drive business growth in collaboration with leadership.
  • Create financial models to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Present investor and board reports with clarity and confidence.
  • Manage audits, compliance, and legal coordination with external partners.
  • Cultivate a high-performing finance team that adapts to the company's needs.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-10 years of experience in finance, preferably in startups, e-commerce, fashion, or marketplaces.
  • In-depth understanding of consumer businesses and marketplace economics.
  • Strategic finance expertise, thinking big-picture and long-term.
  • Experience building financial systems and models from scratch.
  • Collaboration skills, working closely with founders or senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining accuracy.
  • Bonus points for experience in D2C, Q-commerce, or fashion startups.
