Product Ownership Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to manage Transaction Monitoring tools and mitigate financial crime risk.

  • Data Science is crucial for this role, requiring expertise in analytical methods and problem-solving techniques.
  • Compliance Advisory experience is also essential, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management strategies.
  • Strong technical skills are required, including proficiency in languages such as Python, R, and SQL.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Transaction Monitoring, with a strong focus on financial crime threat mitigation tools and platforms.

A Product Owner with exceptional leadership skills and experience in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices is highly desirable.

Technical competencies include:

  1. Statistical Modelling/ Machine Learning/ Data Analysis
  2. Manage Risk using advanced analytical techniques
  3. Surveillance (Specifically Monitoring) for financial institutions
  4. SQL / HQL / Hive / Hadoop scripting and databases like Oracle and HaaS
  5. R / Python / SAS / STATA / C++ / SCALA Programming

Additionally, the candidate should have experience integrating TM systems with core banking platforms and data warehouses, with familiarity of cloud platforms for scalable TM solutions.
