Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize existing cybersecurity tools to identify potential threats and implement proactive defense mechanisms.
  • Develop and implement a security incident response process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during significant information security incidents, manage the development of incident response plans, and generate detailed reports.
  • Identify and propose key information security initiatives, plans, practices, and tools to senior management.
  • Provide proactive support on approved information security projects, internal/external security audits, application security assessments, and reviews.
  • Stay informed about emerging information security threats and vulnerabilities and communicate effectively with relevant teams.
  • Detect and respond to cyber security threats and implement remediation controls.
  • Perform GRC assessments on IT infrastructure and applications and develop mitigation plans.
  • Conduct hardening reviews of endpoints, networks, and servers.
  • Ensure security compliance for endpoints, networks, servers, databases, etc.
  • Proficiently operate cybersecurity solutions to protect IT infrastructure and data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Cyber Security.
  • Individual contributor capable of working independently.
  • Strong technical skills relevant to Information Security, such as SIEM, IDAM, PIM/PAM, Breach Attack Simulation, and Micro Segmentation.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of complex network and endpoint security principles and concepts.
  • Practical knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Hypervisors).
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and understand their remediation.
  • Responsibility to assist with root cause identification for incident management.
  • Familiarity with Information Security Industry standards/best practices and relevant regulations (SSAE16, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GLBA, FISMA, NIST, ISO27000, CobiT, ISF, OWASP, SANS).
  • Must possess analytical, technical research, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Availability to work on-call whenever required.
