Senior Data Science Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Science Professional to lead the development and deployment of advanced data models in Oil & Gas, focusing on E&P, Operations, Supply Chain, and HSE.

This leadership role involves solution architecture, mentoring, and driving data strategy and execution to unlock business value such as enhanced safety, optimized asset utilization, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced data science models including deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
  • Design and oversee MLOps practices including CICD, container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage big data infrastructure and platforms (Spark, Databricks, Hadoop).
  • Ensure data ethics, governance, compliance with industry standards, and explainability.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering skill development.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define metrics and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership on data science trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Master's/Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 12–15 years of data science experience with demonstrable domain expertise in Oil & Gas.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, Scala, C++, with ML framework mastery.
  • Expertise in cloud ML platforms, MLOps, and enterprise architecture.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
