AS400 RPG/ILE Developer Job

Greetings from a leading IT company, seeking experienced professionals for the position of AS400 RPG/ILE developer.

We are looking for highly skilled and motivated candidates with experience in the complete life cycle of development on CLP/RPG/RPGLE applications.

The ideal candidate should have:

  1. Minimum 3+ years of industry experience with exposure to CLP/RPG/RPGLE.
  2. Extensive knowledge of AS400 technology, including ILE, DB2, and CLLE.
  3. Strong appreciation of effort estimation, unit testing, and comprehensive unit test cases/plans.
  4. Experience in trouble shooting during various phases of development.
  5. Reasonable working experience of coding new and changing complex CL programs.
  6. Good understanding of DB2 concepts and associated methodologies.

Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent English communication skills and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the insurance domain, particularly in life insurance.
