vConstruct, a leading construction technology company seeks an experienced Senior Data Scientist for their data science and analytics team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, AI, and statistics with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.

The team is responsible for driving the use of cutting-edge technology to transform the construction industry, leveraging data from pre-construction to post-construction processes to improve efficiency and predictability.

Key responsibilities include developing predictive models using traditional data science methods and generative AI, applying machine learning algorithms to improve key processes such as project execution, safety, and risk assessment, and designing and deploying scalable end-to-end development of predictive ML models.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business use cases and develop technical solutions, staying up-to-date with advancements in data science and machine learning to leverage the company's data effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics, with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala
  • Proficiency in machine learning, AI & Statistics frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure preferably), knowledge about Azure ML Services & Snowflake would be plus one
