Job Title

Technical Lead - Data Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Lead to lead our data engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior technical expert with a passion for driving innovation and delivering business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Data Pipelines: You will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines that power rating and CPQ capabilities.
  2. Architect and Implement Medallion Architecture: You will architect and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for structured and semi-structured data.
  3. Drive Adoption of Data Mesh Principles: You will drive adoption of Data Mesh principles, decentralizing ownership and promoting domain-oriented data products.
  4. Collaborate with Business/Product Teams: You will collaborate with business/product teams to align CPQ Rating requirements with scalable technical solutions.
  5. Ensure Data Quality and Governance: You will ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across rating-related data assets.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in data engineering with at least 3 years in technical leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data ingestion, transformation, performance tuning), proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL, deep understanding of Medallion Architecture and Data Mesh principles, experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt), cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, knowledge of Python or Scala for data processing, exposure to real-time data streaming (Kafka, Spark Streaming).

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and experience with data engineering, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
