About Data Quality Expert Role

We're looking for a seasoned professional to spearhead data quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in data validation, automation, and analytics to drive business growth.

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data pipelines, platforms, and reporting systems.

The successful candidate will combine test automation skills with hands-on experience in Snowflake and ThoughtSpot, guaranteeing our data is trusted, actionable, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate testing for data pipelines and ETL workflows in Snowflake.
  • Validate data models, transformations, and aggregations for accuracy.
  • Build reconciliation tests between source systems and Snowflake.
  • Test and verify dashboards, reports, and analytics in ThoughtSpot.
  • Ensure metrics and KPIs in BI tools align with data definitions.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks in C#, integrating into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate across teams to define strategies, plan sprints, and track data quality metrics.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have 5+ years of experience in Testing.
  • Experience as an SDET / Test Engineer with hands-on automation using C#, Playwright, and MSTest.
  • Practical experience with Snowflake (SQL queries, stored procedures, schema validation).
  • Exposure to ThoughtSpot or similar BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for report validation and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) for UI automation and controller-based design for API testing.
  • Experience embedding test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
  • Comfortable with test reporting, analyzing data quality metrics, and driving data-informed QA improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working in collaborative Agile teams.
