Automotive Quality Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Quality Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management principles, methods, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in CFT interactions with internal and external teams to ensure design quality management.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain quality management dashboards for reviews.
  • Track and analyze external (field failures) and internal testing failures using AIAG-based 4th or VDA method DFMEA, DVP tests, issues tracking, monitoring, and closure of design guidelines, DRBFM analysis, and closures.
  • Proficiency in QC tools such as 7QC stories, why-why analysis, effective problem-solving, FTA, 8D reports, 6W-2H, etc.
  • Must have creative thinking ability, analytical, and statistical skills.
  • Ability to present and articulate precise problem statements with cause and effect QC stories.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in automotive electrical and electronic systems/integrations on two-wheeler, three-wheeler, and four-wheeler vehicle platforms (powertrains such as gasoline, diesel, LPG, CNG, and EV).
  • Experience in testing parts in vehicles considering function, safety, durability, and environmental aspects.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management systems like Teamcenter.
  • Knowledge of quality management principles and methods applied to new product development.
  • Good understanding of new technologies in the automotive domain.
Behavioral Skills:
  • Align and motivate design quality engineers for high performance.
  • Collaborate across all CFT meetings.
  • Uphold values; inculcate a culture of excellence.
  • Generate ideas; solve problems creatively and qualitatively.
