Job Summary

The Role of Learning and Development Strategist is a pivotal position in our organization, responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training programs that foster luxury retail excellence. This individual will lead the development of learning strategies, drive the execution of employee upskilling initiatives, and ensure alignment with global brand standards.

About the Job

This role requires a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, embodying the brand's values, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of luxury retail, customer service excellence, and brand management, as well as exceptional facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Training Strategy & Design: Develop and execute the overall training and learning strategy for the company, aligned with business objectives.
  2. Program Development & Delivery: Create and deliver training modules on luxury customer service, clienteling, selling skills, brand storytelling, and enhancing overall Customer experience.
  3. Quality & Standards: Ensure consistency in brand training delivery across all stores and regions, monitor effectiveness of training programs, and establish KPIs and reporting metrics for training impact.
  4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Introduce new learning methodologies (digital learning platforms, gamification, microlearning) and stay updated with luxury retail training trends, competitor benchmarks, and best practices.
  5. Training Evaluation & Impact Assessment: Develop and implement a framework to evaluate training effectiveness at all levels, measure pre- and post-training impact on key business metrics, and generate regular reports on training outcomes for leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Luxury Retail Expertise: Strong knowledge of luxury retail, customer service excellence, and brand management.
  • Leadership & People Management: Leadership and people management skills, including ability to design engaging, interactive training content and analyze ROI of training programs.
  • Education & Experience: Master's degree in HR, Business, or related field and 10-12 years of experience in Training & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
