Fashion Stylist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Fashion Stylist to join our team. As a key member of our visual merchandising team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing outfits that align with our brand aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute visual concepts for campaigns, lookbooks, ecommerce shoots, and events.
  • Collaborate with photographers, art directors, models, and hair/makeup artists to bring visual concepts to life.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends, cultural movements, and competitor styling.
  • Work closely with the buying and merchandising teams to understand product direction and ensure alignment with our brand vision.
  • Create mood boards and styling briefs for shoots to ensure consistency and continuity across all styled outputs.
  • Sources garments, props, and accessories as required to meet the needs of our visual content.
  • Ensure the wardrobe is organized and well-maintained at all times.
  • Assist in fittings and adjustments before shoots or events to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Represent our brand's image and voice through consistent styling and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a fashion stylist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of fashion trends, designers, fabrics, and garment construction.
  • Excellent visual and aesthetic sense.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with styling tools and photo shoot processes.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating range and styling capability.
  • Preferred degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, or a related field.
