Job Overview

Lead Graphics Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Design Manager to join our team.

As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of visually appealing and engaging graphics for educational content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership:
  • Manage a team of graphic designers to ensure high-quality designs meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design needs and deliverables.
  • Oversee the creation of digital and print materials, including marketing collateral, social media content, website graphics, and educational resources.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct quality checks on outsourced graphics to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure all graphics adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency in visual style and branding across all company graphics.
  • Innovation:
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve graphic quality.
  • Drive innovation in the field of graphics by incorporating cutting-edge design trends and AI technologies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and styles.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and branding.
  • Experience managing external vendors and outsourcing graphic projects.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing.
  • Proficiency in audio cleaning and enhancement techniques.
