Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Performance Engineering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading performance engineering efforts across various projects and initiatives, ensuring that our systems meet the required standards for scalability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead performance engineering teams to design, develop, and implement high-performance solutions for our trading platforms and other key applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and develop strategies to address them.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics and benchmarks to measure system performance and monitor progress against goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our performance engineering practices remain best-in-class.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in performance engineering, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing high-performance solutions using industry-standard tools such as LoadRunner, Performance Center, JMeter, Gatling, and others.
  • Experience working with cloud-based performance test services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
