We're looking for a skilled Sourcing & Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing strategy of different categories of staples, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient operational processes within the organization.

Job Description:

This is a challenging role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of agri-value chain expertise, supply chain management, quality management, and risk management in commodities/staples. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of Commodities, identify and evaluate potential suppliers, and establish long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of Commodities.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality standards and timely deliveries.
  • Oversight of daily operations, ensuring efficient processes from sourcing to delivery.
  • Collaboration with logistics teams to streamline supply chain activities.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in sourcing and operations, preferably within the agricultural sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using sourcing and supply chain management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
