Job Description
Provide high-level finance support to our global Concentrates trading activities.
Responsibilities:
- Handle L/C's or Bank Guarantees for purchases and sales of Concentrates and related products.
- Prepare and dispatch invoices and shipping documents for payment under Documentary Letters of Credit received from buyers.
- Ensure timely processing of cargo payments and manage cash positions with banks.
- Collaborate closely with teams in the APAC Region, especially Finance and Operations.
- Manage bank reconciliations and close outstanding items.
- Work with Deals Desk personnel to allocate costs correctly to deal Profit and Loss accounts.
- Coordinate with Operations team to ensure logistical requirements align with financial and risk considerations.
- Verify Discharge LOI and check BL workability from a financial perspective.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Relevant MBA or PG with 3 years of experience in finance or trading, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Working Relationships:
External: Banks, Counterparties. Internal: Ops, Traders, Contracts, Treasury, Securitization, Accounting & Deals Desk.
Reporting Structure:
Manager at TGS.
