Job Title: Automation Specialist

Location: Offshore - India

Duration: 4 Months

Job Description:

Mandatory Knowledge

• This role involves supporting the transformation project to replace Liquidity Management application from GTS Matrix to OBLM (Oracle Banking Liquidity Management) in Mashreq Bank UAE.

• Strong knowledge of SWIFT Payments, specifically MT103 and MT202, is required.

Key Result Areas

• The successful candidate will have accurate and efficient understanding along with sound knowledge of Liquidity Management (Sweeping and Pooling).

• They must be familiar with OBLM application maintenance set-ups, such as Onboarding, Account parameters, Frequency, Sweep types.

• Performance of User Acceptance testing in OBLM application is essential.

• Validation of migrated data from GTS Matrix to OBLM in production is a critical task.

• Qlik report validation in UAT and production requires attention to detail.

• Providing training to production staffs and support post-production requirements are also part of this role.

• Defect Retesting is an ongoing process.

• The team operates in a multi-discipline, multi-cultural work environment involving financial processes across UAE & IBG region.

• Quality of service is key in this competitive environment where constant improvement is necessary.

• Teamwork and participation in Team Huddles are essential for resolving issues.

• Ensuring solutions are implemented on a fast track basis and working closely with stakeholders for seamless client delivery is vital.

• Effective testing and adherence to service standards are necessary.

• Meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) is essential.

Decision Making Authority & Responsibility

• Corrective and preventive action based on feedback from stakeholders is required.

• Escalating service defects/issues to the manager/seniors is immediate.

• Sharing responsibility with seniors is necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• At least 4+ years of relevant working experience is required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Azure) is required.

• Knowledge of OBLM product is necessary.

• Attention to details, strong analytical skills, and good interpersonal skills are required.

• Ability to work under pressure, excellent organizational skills, and being a good team player are essential.
