Job Overview:

We seek an experienced Test Development Specialist to join our team for a project focused on migrating automated test equipment (ATE) test programs.

  • The primary responsibility will be to migrate existing test programs from various platforms to the NI STS platform.
  • Apart from test program migration, tasks may include updating test programs to match modified test specifications and developing ATE test programs for wafer sort and final test packaging.
  • Additionally, responsibilities may include developing and maintaining characterization programs and driving failure analysis and debugging activities for digital/analog failures in ATE test programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and migrate full test programs from source platforms to the target NI STS platform.
  • Rewrite test methods and adapt test flows for the new NI STS environment.
  • Utilize C# as the primary programming language for new test programs.
  • Analyze and adapt existing source code written in C++ and other languages.
  • Perform statistical data analysis using tools to ensure proper test program correlation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and maintain open communication regarding project progress.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-7 years of industry experience in IC Test or equivalent field.
  • Strong experience in semiconductor test engineering and practices.
  • Proficiency in C++/C# is essential.
  • Solid understanding of test program development and debugging.
  • Knowledge of basic statistical analysis for test correlation.
  • Familiarity with test instrumentation and ability to work with various hardware platforms.
  • Experience with op-amps, converters, and complex System-on-Chips (SOCs).
  • Good coding and problem-solving skills.
