Job Title

A seasoned leader is needed to oversee a team of analysts supporting the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending operations.

  • The successful candidate will lead and mentor analysts in processing CRE loan applications, credit documentation, and portfolio management with a focus on compliance and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of high-quality results meeting Service Level Agreements/Key Performance Indicators with a 98%+ right-first-time documentation accuracy.
  • Track, review, and report team performance; conduct regular feedback and coaching sessions.
Operational Excellence
  • Enforce adherence to AAF Lending Policy, Standards, and Lending Criteria across the team.
  • Review and approve credit papers/documentation prior to submission to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the use of front-end systems to monitor loan applications through approval.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the single point of contact for client stakeholders in the UK, managing escalations and providing operational updates.
  • Facilitate transparent, regular communication between India and UK teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Oversee collaboration with KYC and Financial Crime teams for onboarding/fraud cases, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with UK banking regulations and client-specific policies, maintaining a strong risk management culture.
Process Improvement & Reporting
  • Identify and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality within the team.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, dashboards, and insights for senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Training & Development
  • Conduct training on UK CRE lending practices, compliance, and systems to upskill team members.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
