Seeking a Product Design Engineer with expertise in CATIA V5 for designing automotive plastic parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring design integrity and functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create innovative designs using CATIA V5 from concept to completion.
  • Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, ensuring design feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Conduct tooling feasibility studies to ensure designs are viable for production.
  • Develop high-quality surfacing models and prepare both 2D and 3D technical drawings.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in designing automotive plastic parts is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with the CATIA V5 CAD software is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing aspects, including tooling and surfacing, is required.
Skills
  • Expertise in CATIA V5 for design and modeling is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary.
