Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our enterprise network infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex network architectures to meet business requirements.
  • Configure, install, and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment, including routers, switches, access points, and controllers.
  • Maintain personal knowledge of network vendor technologies and associated software.
  • Engage in technical administration of Cisco network equipment.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment.
  • Resolve complex issues involving a wide range of technologies.
  • Assist other teams with installing and configuring Cisco Voice Gateways, Integrated Services Routers (ISRs), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) routers, analog gateways, and any other infrastructure equipment.
  • Work with carriers and configure/troubleshoot Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN and other WAN circuits and equipment.
  • Mentor junior network engineers.
  • Ensure network meets compliance standards, including PCI and HIPAA.
  • Provide on-call support required to bring production systems to operational states.
  • Oversee diagnosis and troubleshooting activities; resolve technical problems that occur.
  • Perform system administration functions necessary to support continuous day-to-day system operations.
  • Perform configuration management using Ansible, Solarwinds and other tools.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
  • Experience implementing Cisco ISE.
  • Experience using Cisco DNA Center.
  • Experience with SD-WAN preferred.
  • Experience with SDN preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of networking in a VMware and/or Docker and/or AWS environment preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and/or Network as Code (NaC) preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of Python and Ansible.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional certification required.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification preferred.
