Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our organization. This is a critical role that will involve developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

  • Develop and implement high-quality SQL code to meet business requirements, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Work extensively with JSON data formats for integration and processing, leveraging knowledge of relational database concepts and data analysis principles.
  • Design and develop REST APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between services and systems, following best practices for API design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes, analyzing and interpreting large datasets to generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the field of data engineering, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation, with a focus on extracting insights from complex data sets.
  • Hands-on experience with JSON and REST API integration, including API design, development, and testing.
  • Ability to read and understand complex code, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance system efficiency and scalability.
