About this Role:

  • Lead the technical aspects of our e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve system performance, reliability, and security.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, including customer experience, user management, catalog, promotions, offers & pricing, cart & checkout, payments, and order capture.
  • Proactively identify and escalate technology or operational risks to leadership, recommending mitigation strategies.

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 5+ years in e-commerce domain.
  • Full stack mindset, with expertise in front-end (Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and back-end (Java, NodeJS) aspects.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, HCL Commerce, ATG, or SFCC is recommended.
  • Knowledge of cloud systems, especially AWS, and event-driven composable commerce architecture is suitable.
  • Exposure to package business components, such as Builder for CMS, Bloom reach for Search, Payment Gateways, International or Cross Border Shipping, will be beneficial.

Additional Information:

  • Should have solid cognizance of support processes, including L1 / L2 / L3, with key focus on L3 aspects.
  • Oversee Application Operations: Manage the health, monitoring, and performance of all ecommerce applications, ensuring uptime and reliability.
  • Alerting & Automation: Exposure to observability platforms like New Relic, Datadog, AWS CloudWatch etc. will be preferred.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response bridges, coordinate on-call schedules, and ensure thorough post-incident reviews and documentation.
