As a senior-level engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale Oracle database environments on-premises and in the cloud.

  • Design and implement Oracle databases using various tools and technologies">
  • Migrate databases from on-premises to cloud environments while ensuring minimal downtime and data loss">
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, Ansible, PowerShell, and Terraform to streamline database administration tasks">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement hybrid cloud database solutions that meet business requirements">
  • Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of a hybrid cloud database environment">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience">
  • Proven working experience as a SQL Server/Oracle Database Administrator with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle and Oracle RAC">
  • Strong understanding of Oracle performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting techniques">
  • Experience with database security principles and best practices, including encryption, access controls, and compliance">
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex database issues in hybrid cloud environments">
  • Knowledge of AWS services, particularly AWS RDS and related cloud technologies">
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure provisioning and management">
  • Knowledge of Python, Bash, Ansible, and PowerShell scripting for automation, orchestration, and integration tasks">
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)">
