Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Biostatistics Expert to shape the statistical direction of our research projects. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert consultation on statistical methodology, solving complex problems and ensuring the scientific integrity of our research.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in methodological statistical research. Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS and/or R is essential, along with expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise and direct junior biostatisticians and programmers on clinical research studies.
  • Statistical Review: Provide technical review of proposed statistical designs for research studies.
  • Analysis Planning: Lead study analysis plans and statistical programs to perform analyses and display study data.
  • Methodology Development: Stay abreast with current statistical and medical literature to ensure sound methodologies are adopted.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: MS in biostatistics, statistics, or PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology or related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of related experience with MS or 1 year of related experience with PhD.
  • Research Experience: Experience with methodological statistical research, including publication and/or presentation of work in statistical methods development.
