Lead Biostatistics Strategist

This role involves leading statistical strategies and deliverables in support of clinical trials. As a key member of the Advanced Clinical team, you will contribute to planning, execution, and interpretation of statistical analyses across development programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee statistical analysis plans (SAPs) to ensure high-quality, timely results that meet regulatory and scientific standards.
  • Collaborate with programming and CRO partners on statistical analysis execution to drive project success.
  • Provide statistical leadership in vendor oversight and quality control, ensuring adherence to CDISC standards.
  • Communicate project status to management, escalating issues or risks as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in clinical trial biostatistics for MS-level candidates; minimum 6 years for PhD-level candidates.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming in SAS and knowledge of R and other programming languages.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical methodologies and clinical trial designs.
  • Experience with regulatory support and interaction.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple studies and timelines concurrently. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-statisticians.

The selected candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a strong understanding of CDISC standards and their application.
