Internal Audit Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Audit Professional to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable organization in Mumbai, providing a challenging and dynamic environment for career growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of internal audit assignments across various business functions. Your tasks will include performing risk assessments, reviewing internal controls, and conducting process audits. You will also prepare and document audit findings and working papers in accordance with IIA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Planning and Executing Internal Audit Assignments: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand operational and financial processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Risk Assessment and Control Reviews: Perform thorough risk assessments, review internal controls, and conduct process audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Audit Findings and Working Papers: Prepare and document audit findings and working papers in line with IIA standards, ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients, communicating effectively through regular updates and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional Certification: CA (Chartered Accountant) with 1-3 years of experience in Internal Audit or freshers with strong experience in IA.
- Strong Exposure: Good understanding of risk management, internal controls, and compliance frameworks, with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data analysis.
- Communication and Report Writing: Excellent communication and report writing skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams under tight deadlines.
