Job Overview

The Deputy Head of Solutions plays a pivotal role in driving the transition to a sustainable energy future. This individual oversees the development of technical and commercial solutions for onshore wind business in India, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal project design, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of bankable solutions that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead solution development for onshore wind projects, ensuring technical excellence, cost competitiveness, and customer alignment through collaboration with internal teams and provision of technical leadership during bidding, contract negotiation, and project delivery phases.
  • Support long-term strategy, drive innovation, and align solutions with global best practices by mentoring and guiding a team of engineers and solution specialists.
  • Manage relationships with key customers, partners, suppliers, and consultants, overseeing preparation of technical proposals, risk assessments, and feasibility analyses.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related field) with 15-20 years of experience in the onshore wind sector, including extensive exposure to solution design, project engineering, and delivery.
  • Proven track record in leading technical or solution teams for large-scale wind projects in India or internationally, demonstrating strong knowledge of wind turbine technology, project development, grid integration, and related commercial aspects.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with ability to mentor and guide a team of engineers and solution specialists.
