Job Title: Data Engineer - Cloud Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled data professional to manage the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Apache Ray and its application in production environments.
  • Infrastructure Management: Operate, monitor, and triage all aspects of our production and non-production environments using cloud services like AWS and GCP.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Automate deployment and orchestration of services into the cloud environment as well as other routine processes.
  • Cloud Optimization: Work on multiple cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Business Continuity: Participate in capacity planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises to ensure business continuity.
  • Team Collaboration: Interact with and support partner teams, including Engineering, QA, and program management.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot customer concerns for ML Tuning and inference endpoints on Ray.
  • API Development: Design and implement RESTful/RPC API and services using Golang or Python.
  • SLI and Error Budgeting: Implement SLO/SLI, error budget reporting for various customers.
