About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the architecture and implementation of cloud-based data pipelines and ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using Databricks and other technologies.
  • Architecture and Implementation: Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions in the cloud.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to gather requirements and deliver actionable data solutions.
  • Optimization and Troubleshooting: Optimize data workflows for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability, and troubleshoot issues in data pipelines to ensure high data availability and integrity.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Data Engineering Experience: 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-based data solutions.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus).
  • Big Data Ecosystems: Solid understanding of big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Kafka, etc.).
  • PySpark and Scala: Strong experience with PySpark and Scala programming languages.
  • Databricks SQL: Proven Subject Matter Expertise in Databricks (including Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and MLflow).
