Job Role

The Senior Research Associate position involves performing routine scientific research tasks under general supervision of a lab team leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently conduct scientific research using standard techniques, procedures and equipment.
  • Develop new methods and procedures to optimize existing processes.
  • Collaborate with managers to discuss and propose solutions.
  • Display expertise in engineering and tech transfer.
  • Support R&D teams and cross-functional teams in scaling up new products technology.
  • Troubleshoot or improve existing processes for better results.
  • Document results in lab journals and prepare technical reports.
  • Maintain a clean laboratory environment and suitable working equipment.
  • Perform assigned lab tasks such as raw material inventory review and maintenance of lab instruments.
  • Adhere to regulations concerning safety, health and environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • General knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Able to maintain accurate records and documents.
