Workplace Standards Expert

The Global Workplace Standard (GWS) for mica processors has been developed to promote responsible workplace standards, eliminate unacceptable working conditions, and eradicate child labor.

Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI) is a global coalition of organizations working together to establish responsible mica supply chains in India and Madagascar. The organization aims to strengthen its support for upstream supply chain actors and enhance district-level advocacy in Rajasthan.

To achieve this goal, RMI is seeking a highly motivated candidate with strong social and environmental auditing expertise, excellent coordination, monitoring, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work proactively and independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Team with various missions, including supply chain sustainability management and training facilitation.
  • Collaborate with governance bodies, executive team members, partners, and stakeholders under the supervision of the Director of Programmes.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the global mica industry, sound analytical skills, and exceptional communication abilities. A strong passion for promoting responsible workplace standards and eliminating child labor is essential for success in this role.
